Yea, but it's been a few days. I've been keeping regular contact with her. She'll be back soon enough.

hm, I wouldn't write him off just yet. I get that you're probably frustrated, but maybe if you hold out until you guys get a chance to see each other and talk, things might work out and be awesome, right? You never know! Don't give up on him and regret it because that would really, really suck.

The morning was fantastic. She woke up in my arms and wished me a Merry Christmas. We lounged around, watched a few movies and just enjoyed the time off from work and the time with each other. A little after noon, our friend knocks on the door and told her that she got a Red Cross message. Her father was dying and she needed to go home.

After the paperwork got signed, we spent the entire night at the flightline just trying to get her on a bird into the safe zone (Kuwait) so she could fly back to Chicago. It's been a few days and I've been in contact with her but I just got news that her Pops didn't make it. The priest just came in.

For once, I'd like to have a holiday season that doesn't stink of death.

To be quite honest, Christmas morning was the best I've had in years. Then it got pretty bad. =\

Figure out what you want and what you need. Can this guy give you what you need? Does he take care of what you want (granted you're being reasonable)? If not, then be careful to not get wrapped up in an 'intimate friendship.' If so, then it's time for you two to talk.

Be patient. If it's meant to be, it will happen. If not, then you can always move on. Don't forget that you're a bombshell.

probably :D i was with my friend arjie and we were at borders waiting for people and i saw neglected to see the "Mature Content, keep an eye on your children" sign when I picked up this one book that read "Guide to Getting it On." I opened it and now my eyes are no longer virgin :(
